Introduction

**Rhino 3D model Tools** is a set of small utilities designed to help designers efficiently complete 3D modeling tasks in Rhino. These tools, based on Grasshopper’s visual programming plugin and Python, assist designers in quickly executing tasks such as Civil 3D topography cleaning, curve lifting, handrail creation, and tree and shrub placement.

Shrub planting

• Description:
  • This tools help designer efficiently plant one kinds of plant as a block, in to a designated area randomly, which saves a lots of time comparing to do it manually.

Line to Handrail

• Description:
  • Based on a from the bottom of the stair to the top of the stair, this tool could general a standard handrail that meets the design standard in 3D model.

Curve Lifting

• Description:
  • Based on a curve or line on plan, the elevation of the start and end points, a gentle lifted curve line will be generated automatically, which can be used for complicated sloping curvy condition.
